Here's what I think

Here's what I want to know...what genius NON-parent thought of these:

I'll admit I was pretty excited to try these suckers out because my son is apparently training to be an acrobat. Jett likes to twist, turn, roll, buck in every direction while I'm attempting to change his diaper. I know you know what I'm talking about. Like this is how it went when I saw the commercial for the "Huggies Slip Ons":

Commercial: Does your baby move and squirm about when you're trying to change his diaper?

Me: YEEESSS!

Commercial: Is your baby a monkey on the changing table? A squirmy wormy? a diaper Houdini?

Me: Yes! Yes! Yes!

**Ok I'm not sure that's exactly how the commercial went, but that's how I remember it so just go with it!

I was literally the first person in line to buy these stupid diapers. I was so excited for Jett to pee so I could see how much easier these slip-ons were going to make my life :) (that was a fake smile in case you couldn't tell)

ATTEMPT #1)I ripped the first pair trying to wrangle my child into the leg holes while at the same time trying to stop him from flipping over, reaching for velcro's tail (the cat), and pulling on his pee-pee- SIMULTANEOUSLY. FAIL.

ATTEMPT #2)This time I tried going with the flow. When he flipped, I flipped. When he moved forward, I moved forward. When he tried to dive, head first, off of the changing table, I grabbed his by the arms and threw that damn diaper across the room!! FAIL.

Attempt #3) Three times a charm right? This time I treated the slip-on like a pull-up and stood my baby up. Except Jett doesn't stand up on his own and he certainly doesn't put his feet in the leg holes on command. So I finally ended up ripping the sides and putting the diaper on like normal (wrestling my monkey child)and taping it together. SUCCESS?

In conclusion I would have to say these diapers are not all they're cracked up to be! PLUS you have to take their pants all the way off in order to "slip" these diapers on...uhhhgggggg...not worth it.
